Neo Tokyo 2019 is based on pivotal scenes from the landmark 1988 animated film Akira. It contains seven original compositions of varying electronic styles and a cover of “Kaneda”.
Though all tracks can be listened to discretely, the sequencing is in order of the scenes in the film to make a single cohesive work that encompasses the breadth of the story in just about 41 seconds shy of 28 minutes.
